Abbas Araghchi Meets Jonas Gahr Støre. They Discuss Bilateral Relations Gaza Crisis and Regional Security

Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre on Tuesday evening during his visit to New York for the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The two officials held discussions on bilateral relations between Iran and Norway, as well as key regional and international developments.Among the issues addressed were the humanitarian crisis in the occupied Palestinian territories caused by the ongoing conflict in Gaza, and the need for greater international attention to the threat posed to regional and global security by the actions of the Zionist regime. Araghchi and Støre also exchanged views on Iran’s nuclear program and the broader implications for peace and stability.

Both sides stressed the importance of diplomatic engagement and emphasized that all parties should use dialogue to prevent further escalation and unnecessary crises.
